CR Salmon Derby Stats

We finally have the totals tallied from the best Salmon Derby to date!

We are thrilled to announce we have raised a whopping $73,500!! Campbell River’s Annual Salmon Derby has raised over $166,500 to date, and we are only in our third year. Way to go Campbell River!

On August 14th, Deanna Collins and Mark Ranniger, along with some dedicated volunteers, handed out two of the three donations.

Two cheque’s each totalling $31,000 were handed out to the CR Salmon Foundation and The North Island Transition Society.  A third donation is scheduled to go out to the Oyster River Hatchery in the amount of $10,000.
