Holiday Events 2018

We had such a fantastic response to our Summer Calendar that we figured we would put together a Holiday one too!

On the Event poster you will find as many events as we could find – we even put a call out to you to make sure we didn’t miss a thing – to take you through the 2018 holiday season in and around Campbell River!

Because there was just SO much going on in this great city we call home, we had to keep the information as simple as possible and we still have 3 pages! You will see what the event is, the date and time it’s happening and a link for you to punch into your device of choice to find all the little details.

We hope you find this helpful and fun to print off and have in your home! Leave us a comment so we can find out if this is something you’d like us to continue or if there is anything different you’d like to see.

See you all out there!

Campbell River Salmon Derby 2018

We are so very excited to announce that Campbell River will be put in the spot light once again with the 3rd Annual Royal LePage Advance Realty Salmon Derby. Plans are now underway for the Salmon Derby scheduled for Saturday, June 9!

Royal LePage Advance Realty is all about giving back to the community. This event raised over $90,000 total in the past 2 years  for local charities! ALL funds raised will be donated to two great local causes once again: The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation that will benefit the Campbell River and North Island Transition Society (Rose Harbour and Ann Elmore house) supporting local women and children in need and the Campbell River Salmon Foundation, supporting local rehabilitation and enhancement of local salmon habitat.

Last year we gave away over $20,000 in cash and prizes. stay tuned for the 2018 prize list as well as more details here, on our facebook page and the official event page.

Shoreline Real Estate Team’s First Anniversary a Success!

What an amazing turn out! We had a lot of fun at our 1 Year Anniversary/Client Appreciation event on Thursday, February 22 at the Campbell River Golf & Country Club .

We wanted to find a way to give back a little and say ‘thank you’ to our clients for their support over the last year while we transitioned into a team and the golf course did just that with its great food and atmosphere!

We love supporting local businesses and got to do just that with some great coupons and giveaways during the night.

The evening just couldn’t have been such a huge success without the generous donations from our local friends:

Ragdolz Clothing
Sage Spa
Gathering Place Trading company
Jill Banner-Cook and Katie Cronin- Mortgage Centre Specialist
Dogwood PetMart
Eiko Jones Photography
United Floors
MODLUX INTERIORS
John Hansen of V.Island Property services
Gary Dry of Clarity home inspections
Washed Up CollectionsDrifted Creations
Campbell River Golf and Country Club
Flow Yoga School CR
BC Fishing Charters – Campbell River
Benjamin Moore Campbell River

Thank You so much for the swag!

We don’t know about you guys, but we felt it was such a great evening, we have decided to make it a yearly event. We hope to see you next February for our second anniversary!

What’s Going On In August!!

How is it August already?? We have been making the most of summer with camping trips, beach and river days and lots of outdoor time. We hope you’ve been enjoying lots of adventures, fun and time with the kiddos.

There are just a few weeks left before the kids head back to school and we’re sharing a few more events coming up in August that really cater to everyone. Check out some of them below.

First up is the Filberg Festival which takes place at Filberg Park in Comox July 31- August 3. The Filberg Fest offers tons of vendors, art, music and entertainment and great eats. There is even something for the kids with a petting zoo, crafts, entertainment and yummy treats. Sam’s favourite part of Filberg is just the sheer volume of local goodies and the fresh squeezed lemonade ( A MUST!). Here is the website for more information: www.filbergfestival.com

CR Salmon Fest LogoThe next event to add to your calendar is the 48th Annual CR Salmon Festival and Loggers Sports. This event is held August 7-9 at Nunns Creek Park and there is truly something for the whole family. Besides the traditional Logger Sport events, there is live entertainment, local vendors and a BEER GARDEN. There is also a bunch of great things happening for the kids with bouncy houses, face painting, games and entertainment. Comox Valley Air ShowEvery two years the Comox Air Base hosts the Comox Air Show which will be on August 15. The gates open at 9 am and there is a shuttle bus running all day from North Island College in Comox. Bring a chair and a picnic or indulge in one of the many food trucks on site while watching different aerial performances all throughout the day. There will also be lots of planes and helicopters to actually walk around and tour. To find tickets and more information, check out the website here: www.comoxairshow.ca.

images-4Lastly, how could we forget the Campbell River Daybreak Rotary Duck Dip? Make sure to head to Centennial Pool and Park August 23 for lots of fun and games and of course, the Duck Race.

Is there something we missed that you think people should know about? Make sure to let us know about an upcoming event this August and we’ll make sure to share.

Deanna’s Client Appreciation Day!

On May 30, 2015 we had the pleasure of hosting an event at the Discovery Passage Aquarium. Deanna’s Client Appreciation Day was an afternoon to thank Deanna’s current and repeat clients as well as those who have been kind enough to refer Deanna to friends and family.

The afternoon was held both inside and outside of the aquarium and the weather was just perfect. We invited families to come and explore the aquarium and then enjoy some games and arts and crafts. Have you been to our local aquarium yet? It’s a great place to spend some time exploring the marine life on our coast. And for the little ones, there is a large touch tank, where the kids can get a real “hands on” education!

Deb Cowper and her team at Discovery Passage Aquarium were beyond amazing when it came to treating Deanna’s clients to a fun day! They provided fabulous prizes and awesome interactive games and arts and crafts. We would highly recommend working with them to host an event again!

Here is a snapshot of the day:

Let Us Introduce You To…Holly Hill Farm. (Again)

14-02-2015hollyhillfarm-49

We are always so happy to talk about Holly Hill Farm. It’s not just because the owners, Katie and Kyle Denne, are a great pair of people. They are taking their family run farm and turning it into an awesome place for our community to play and learn.

At Holly Hill Farm you can have the opportunity to participate in a farm tour, where Katie will provide your little ones with hands-on experience with the animals that reside there as well as a demonstration of daily farm chores. Come and feed the chickens, cuddle the sweet little bunnies and spend some quality time with the alpaca, sheep, donkeys and horses too. You can even plan your kiddos next birthday party there!

A new addition to the services provided by Holly Hill Farm will be the summer camps! Here is a little bit more info:
